Nandina and Agapanthus

Residential, January 30, 2012
What looks to me like a more exotic planting, turns out to be familiar landscaping plants. Nandina, repeated from a previous post, but looks very different here, grows well in Lafayette, California - and a dwarf agapanthus. Excellent.

Top red: Nandina
Botanical Name: Nandina domestica (maybe 'Woods Dwarf')
Bottom green: Lily-of-the-Nile
Botanical Name: Agapanthus africanus (possibly 'Peter Pan')
In a Lafayette, California pleasant rock garden bordering the street and driveway. No irrigation.
